After typhoon Basyang released all her might last night, the day went on perfectly fine for doing the laundry. I still feel nauseated and my tummy acts up again, but I am still enthusiastic on waking up and living up my day. Over breakfast, my mom and I had our usual chit-chats and our fascination on how good my Anmum milk tastes like. It was really good that my mom wanted to have some also! After, I proceeded on doing the laundry catching up on the sunlight. I could still feel like throwing up but refrain myself from. I also frequent feeling so thirsty that made me feel full because of chugging a lot of water. After doing the laundry and while waiting for lunch, I watched another episode in the second season of Supernatural. Rhyan called to check up on me. I miss him so much, but I’m very thankful that he diligently calls me everyday and never forgets to send me an email as well. I could really feel his excitement, and somehow I wish he can go home soon.
Over lunch, I started to feel my taste buds crave for something salty. I kept on digging on the Pork Steak sauce that my mom made, and every time I drink water I immediately loose the taste of what I ate. I also had instant craving for barbeque, particularly pork isaw. Dad said he’ll buy some before he goes home.
That whole afternoon I again went through nausea, and that strange bitter taste in my mouth. I slept for two hours before finishing my reply to my husband’s email. When dad arrived, I immediately dug in my isaw and pork barbeque, but gross, it tasted bitter that I lost my appetite for dinner as well.
I am still going through a lot of fuss in this pregnancy. But somehow, I secretly enjoy it, with all the extra care that my family is giving me, alongside with their funny imaginations about my baby; Dad will call him/her Joray, short for Rhyan and I’s combined names, and soon he will become the boss of our once quiet household. Maybe this child will be, and I am so excited on watching him make our worlds go upside down.
